Reflection for the Production Journey Through The Legends

Something I was pleased with was that I got better and better because I did not know that I will get better and better.  

I really enjoyed learning lot of legends because I did not know lots of legends

Something I found hard was to do the dance because when we did the first step it got confusing and confusing it till I got it.

Something that made me think was the dance.

Something I want to get better at is to smile.

My favorite part of the production was the seven whales.

My best bit of feedback  for the production was from Miss miller she said to me that “I was awesome.

                

Last Night Of The Production

Thursday the 4th.

IT was the last night, it was tiring , hot, nervous , and fun.

I get ready and I put on my shark costume.

We hear the dolphins nearly move so we move to the side.

Then the song go on and the whole hall clamps with the beat.

The dance is done so I wait to say my line.

Then I go "yeah, you should see those men go hard Smashed ‘em bro."

Then we end the show. Goodbye.

Tonight IS THE LAST  NIGHT,  GAME  TIME!

TONIGHT  it  is going to be fun and my mum and dad are coming. The hall will be packed with lot’s of people. It’s going to be nervous AND HOT AND TIRED AND IT WILL BE AWESOME.

A Friend

A Friend……..A friend is someone that comes to your house.

Sometimes it is boring when your friend is doing nothing.

And when you say come and play rugby sometimes they don't want to.

A friend is when they help you when are you hurt.

Dear Diary, let me introduce myself. My name is Traylan and my role in the production is a shark. So far it has be fun to be a shark because we have a good song and I like my line. This is my line yeah, you should see those men go hard. Smashed ‘em bro!!. When I get on the stage I am going to be nervous because I have not be in the front role before but I reckon that I will get used to it.

A couple of weeks ago my dad did a St John course. My dad was doing this to work for St John. My dad went to do the course in Taupo he couldn’t go in the morning because there is black ice. Black ice is dangerous and it can flip cars. When he got  to the hotel it was night time, so he got in bed and Skyped us. After he skyped us he jumped into bed and went for a snooze. The next day it was his course. The course was a  driving course. They had to drive to different places. The course was for 2 days. He got back on saturday night. When he arrived he told us that he passed and we were all happy. That night he got to pick dinner but he said that we could pick dinner. So we did and I picked Carl’s Jr.

Maui is a character in a book called Maui and the sun. It is about the sun. He is also in this story and did you know that the north island is a fish!

 

One day there was a man on a island. This is Maui. Maui punched has nose and got some blood to put it on the hook. He threw it in the deep deep water. Suddenly he felt something stuck on the hook, so he got his men and told them that something was stuck on the hook so they pulled and heaved but it did not work so they did it again and they pulled and heaved and it burst  it up  in the air and the great fish smashed on the boat. After they got the fish Maui went and dived into the water and did a karakia to the god of the sea. The fish is North Island and the men made the hills, river, sea, and that was all. When Maui got back up on the boat they went far far far away.

Today room 6 and room 8 were skyping Cameron and Thomas’s uncle. That is in Scotland for the Commonwealth Games. Cameron and Thomas uncle is a scientist of the team NZ cycling team. They are going to race in the velodrome race track in scotland. The track is 250 metres long. The team nz train every day to get a metla. The race starts on Friday morning.

Today I am playing barefoot 10s.We are vs Parkvale Wright at Windsor park. The team that I am in is Parkvale Dickson. I reckon that we will win vs Parkvale Wright but the problem is that I have to vs my brother and my friend George. The position that I play  is wing. My team  has not had a  loss. However,  Parkvale wright have only won one game.While our team has won three  of our matches.This game is going to show lots of Parkvale Pride. We will show this by using Personal Best to  score lots of trys, respecting the ref and showing lots of Determination by never giving up.

The  game is going to be hard. 

The game. We get to the game wow that is a big field.The game kick off the ball came to me and I mess oh no I said to myself.At the end of the game Mr wright said that it was 10 all. Then we hand shake and said good game.

                                                                                                                                                             

Trip to Mars

Today I am going to mars. I get to the rocked and get ready for blast off 1 2 3 go we go to mars. It is going to take 7 month to get to mars. That is a long way to go. I thought it took 4 months, wow!. I must be dum. I am going to make a plan on the rocket the plan is about what I am going to look for on Mars like aliens. My Dad said that we can go to the moon then when we get there we can see if moon is big. Then we will see if the moon on mars looks different to ours. 

Day 2 

We arrive at mars wow!!!. Its beautiful hey  dad is that a alien there yes!! It is yes yes yes!!!!!!!. Lets go and catch that alien we both said charge man he is hand to catch my dad said. 

Day 3

It is hard to get the alien we have be doing this for 2 day so far and we haven't catch the alien. We need to catch the alien by now or we won't have an alien to take on the rocket.

Day 4

I get up early in the morning. And I try to find the alien when dad is asleep. I find the alien and I said alien alien where are you? I will find you alien. I try and catch the alien on the big mars. Where is he? Catch. I got the alien yes dad runs out of bed and helped. We get the alien to the rocket man. It's heavy.

Day 5

Finally the alien is in the rocket AND out of mars. Now mars will all ways be safe from getting aliens.  

  

Waka Ride

Waka Ride

It is a hot day in Hawke’s Bay today. It is going to been fun because room 6 is going to ride the waka.The leader name was Jim. Kia riti means to get ready Tokihi means to work together.

Hoe is paddle, whakamutu means to sto,p ta papa means to lean forward, tipuna to carved the waka tumatauenga god of war. Sometimes we had to held our paddles in the sky.

We got back to shore and go back in the car and go to school and have our mt. What I learned is how to use a paddle. What I enjoyed was turning  the waka.
